Who we are

AUREMONT Clothing ("we", "us") operates auremontclothing.com. For UK GDPR purposes we act as the data controller for personal data collected on this site. You can reach us at dolfinmc@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Order data — name, email, shipping address, billing address, items ordered. Collected when you check out.
  • Payment data — handled directly by our payment processors (Shopify Payments / card networks / PayPal / Apple Pay). We never see or store full card numbers.
  • Email (optional) — only if you contact us or opt into marketing.
  • Technical data — your browser stores your cart locally on your device so it isn't lost between pages.

Cookies & tracking

This site does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, etc.), session replay, or cross-site tracking. We only use storage that is strictly necessary to operate the site:

  • auremont_cart — your cart contents (localStorage).
  • auremont_cookie_notice_ack_v1 — remembers you dismissed the cookie banner.
  • Functional cookies set by Shopify during checkout (required to process your order).

Under PECR and UK GDPR, strictly necessary cookies don't require consent — but we still disclose them. If we ever add analytics or marketing tags, we'll ask for consent first.

Why we process your data

  • To fulfil your order (legal basis: contract).
  • To meet tax, accounting, and consumer-law obligations (legal basis: legal obligation).
  • To respond to questions you send us (legal basis: legitimate interest).

Who we share data with

  • Shopify — our store and checkout platform.
  • Payment processors — to take payment.
  • Shipping carriers — to deliver your order.

We don't sell your data and we don't share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Order records are retained for 6 years to meet UK tax and consumer-law requirements. Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data, and you can object to processing. Email dolfinmc@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, surface a notice on the site.
